Instructions for using Infrared Thermometer  017 with notes on safe product use

1) Taking forehead temperature

– Adult mode

Place the thermometer probe on the forehead, hold the scan button, slide slowly to the temple and release the button, when you hear a beep, the value can be read.

– Child mode

Press the scan button to power on, then press the MODE button on the back to switch to baby mode. Place the thermometer probe on the forehead slowly to the temple and release the button. When you hear a beep, you can read the value.

2) Take ear temperature

– Adult mode

Press the scan button to turn on the power, cover the probe cover, the ear symbol will appear on the screen, insert the probe tightly into the ear canal. Press and release the button for 1 second, when you hear a beep, you can read the value.

– Child mode

Press the scan button to turn on the power, close the probe cover, then press the Mode button on the back to switch to child mode. Insert the probe into the ear canal. Press and release the button for 1 second, when you hear a beep, you can read the value.

3) Take the temperature of the room/object

Hold the thermometer about 1-3 cm away from the object

Press the scan button to turn on the power, then press the Mode button on the back to switch to room/object checking mode. Then press the scan button to measure. You can start the next measurement when Celsius/Fahrenheit is flashing.

4) After measuring

Once the reading is completed, remove the thermometer from the forehead/ear and observe the temperature. After each measurement, you can enter repeat mode and query previous temperature readings.
