A multi-function Infrared Thermometer is a device capable of measuring human body temperature by detecting the intensity of infrared light emitted from the forehead. The device converts the measured heat into a temperature displayed on the LCD screen. The Infrared Thermometer is designed to intermittently measure temperature from the forehead skin surface in all ages.

Button to adjust the measuring unit

Open the battery cover and push the knob to the temperature section °C or ºF to set the measurement unit.

Open the battery cover and press the button to select “sound on” or “sound off”

Memory review Press

the memory button on the side, after displaying 01, the memory value will be displayed, then press the set button Remember to view all 32 previous temperature readings.

Note: The device’s memory can only view ear and forehead measurement values; In case of power failure, the entire memory will not be saved.

Forehead

measurement Close the protective cover and confirm the “human shape” forehead measurement symbol. Point the probe towards the forehead and press the measurement button. When the machine sounds “Ti”, the measurement process is completed and the results are displayed on the screen.

Measure your ears 

Remove the protective cap and insert the probe into the external ear canal. Press the ear measurement button, after 1 second, the device will “beep”, the temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen. Do not press too hard on the ear to avoid damaging the eardrum.

Note: If the result is ≥38.0°C, it is a high fever. The machine displays a red light and sounds “beep beep…”. Between 37.5°C ~ 37.9°C is a slight fever, the machine displays a yellow light.

Measure objects 

Open the battery cover and press the button to switch to object measurement mode. Point the probe towards the “house-shaped” object and press the measurement button. When you hear the “Ti” sound, the measurement process is completed and the results are displayed on the screen.

Out of measuring range 

When the measured value is less than 32°C, the screen displays “Lo” with red backlight and “beeps” three times.
When the measured value is greater than 42.9°C, the screen displays “Hi” with red backlight and “beeps” three times.After measurement:

1. Power off: The device will automatically turn off if inactive for more than 30 seconds to prolong battery life.
   2. Clean the probe after each use to ensure accurate readings and avoid cross-contamination.

Note when using

• When not in use for a long time, please remove the battery to avoid leakage. It is forbidden to throw waste batteries into fire.
• Dispose of waste batteries properly according to local regulations to avoid contamination.
• Read the instructions for use before using this device.
• Make sure to install the battery correctly.
• It is recommended to practice several times to become familiar with the temperature measurement method and do not change the device’s factory settings;
